Taking us to the Norfolk countryside, Jim Dietz skilfully portrays the beginning of one of the early Eighth Air Force missions to the heart of the Reich. Earning the nickname ‘The Bloody Hundredth’ due to the heavy losses they suffered, it is fitting that the 100th Bomb Group have been chosen to represent all those who flew so heroically with the Eighth from England during the Second World War. |
