Wings of Glory
 by Robert Taylor

Immortalised first for its role in the Battle of Britain, and later by its distinguished service in every theatre of air operations throughout World War II, the legendary spitfire was the finest defensive fighter ever built. Here a Mk XIX of the RAF’s Battle of Britain Memorial Flight soars among the clouds, paying tribute to the memory of the gallant pilots who flew this most famous of all fighter aircraft.
