Flight Lieutenant Trevor Gray

In September 1940, at the height of the Battle of Britain, Trevor Gray flew Spitfire Mk1s with 64 Squadron at RAF Leconfield, a month later the Squadron joined the Hornchurch Wing.
 
Flight Lieutenant Richard Jones

Posted to 64 Squadron in July 1940, Richard Jones flew Spitfires throughout the heavy fighting over the Channel during the Battle of Britain. Towards the end of the Battle he moved to 19 Squadron flying Spitfires from Fowlmere and was heavily involved in the fighter sweeps taking place at that time.
 
Squadron Leader Ken Wilkinson

Called up in September 1939, Ken Wilkinson flew Spitfires in the Battle of Britain, first with 616 Squadron, then with 19 Squadron at Fowlmere as part of the Duxford Wing.
