The F-86 Sabre Jet was the most important aircraft utilized
by UN forces to combat Mig 15s in the Korean War. The top American
aces of that war attained most , if not all of their victories
in the F-86.
Col. Francis 'Gabby' Gabreski bagged 6.5 Migs in Korea to add
to the 24 confirmed victories he scored in WWII Europe.
