Captain Don Gentile and Lieutenant John Godfrey are depicted
on March 16th, 1944 during a target support mission to the outskirts
of Munich. Gentile and Godfrey would become the 8th Air Force's
most celebrated fighter element, heralded as the top leader/wingman
duo in the European Theatre of Operations.
