A misty morning in Normandy shortly after D-Day and ground
crews of 174 Sqdn warm the engines of their Typhoons in preparation
for the day ahead. Operating from temporary landing strips, these
ground attack specialists devastated the German defenses during
the Allied push into occupied Europe.
