Herschel "Herky" Green downed six Axis aircraft
on one mission over N. Italy on January 30, 1944. Green's flight
encountered a group of Ju-52s four of which Green destroyed,
followed minutes later by a Macchi 202, and on the homeward leg
a Do-217 fell victim to the Aces guns.
