Flying his P-51 Mustang Scat VII, Maj. Robin Olds,
commander of the 434th F.S., is seen bringing down an Me109 high
over Germany in the spring of 1945 while flying escort to B-17
Fortresses. Robin Olds completed two tours in WWII, becoming
an Ace in both the P-38 Lightning and P-51 Mustang.
