Doolittle's Avenging Strike

On April 18, 1942, General James H. Doolittle led a strike against the Japanese homeland from the U.S.S. Hornet. They bombed military targets and then dispersed to China and Russia. This momentous event served to avenge Pearl Harbor and shock the Japanese.
