Moments after take off, the mighty Avro Vulcan bomber begins
her majestic climb through storm clouds, out over the English
countryside towards the North Sea.
Built as a nuclear bomber, the Vulcan first flew in 1952, and
was finally withdrawn from service in 1993. Pictured is Vulcan
XH558, which is currently undergoing restoration in preparation
for a series of air show appearances starting in 2002.
Each print is signed by four Vulcan crew members. |
