Dec. 10th. 1941. A B-17 piloted by Capt. Colin Kelly is attacked
by Japanese Ace Saburo Sakai. Kelly's crew bailed out,
but Capt. Kelly was killed whilst trying to land the damaged
bomber, thus becoming the the first highly publicized American
hero of the war.
