The Arado 234B was the worlds first jet powered bomber and
was a developement of the Arado V7, in which Erich Sommer flew
the first jet reconnaissance mission on August 2, 1944 when he
overflew the Normandy coast to report on the progress of the
Allied invasion. Signed by Erich Sommer.
